The Oklahoma Early Learning Guidelines and Focused Portfolios Milestones Crosswalk

This course covers the Oklahoma Early Learning Guidelines and prepares teachers to integrate these ELGs with the Focused Portfolios Assessment System.  Since this course, when taken after completing Focused Portfolios I, utilizes major theories of child growth and development to guide program planning and on-going child assessment, it enables participants to meet the Oklahoma Early Learning Guidelines training requirement for both Infant, Toddlers and Twos and for Ages 3-5.  Teachers receive several resources that can be used to design and implement program and classroom plans that promote healthy relationships among families, children, teachers/staff, and adults.  During this course, they will have the opportunity to practice time saving tips and techniques to improve their assessment skills.  6 hours = .6 CEU
