Oklahoma Right Start Infant/Toddler Certificate of Achievement Stipend Program

The Center for Early Childhood Professional Development (CECPD) is announcing the Oklahoma Right Start Infant/Toddler Certificate of Achievement Stipend Program. This is a voluntary stipend program funded by Department of Human Services (DHS) Child Care Services, for providers that work in infant/toddler classrooms in DHS licensed child care facilities.

The stipend program is a collaborative effort to validate the achievement and expertise of practitioners and serve as a symbol of professional accomplishment. The stipend program is designed to:

  • recognize and reward the specialized professional development achievement of providers working directly with infants and toddlers
  • encourage teachers in infant/toddler classrooms to obtain additional professional development specific to infant and toddler care and education
  • increase positive outcomes experienced by infants and toddlers

The program begins in July 2018. Additional information is available on CECPD’s website at www.cecpd.org or by e-mail at cecpd@ou.edu.
