Oklahoma Registry Certificate of Achievement and Stipend Program
Right Start Infant/Toddler
To obtain this Certificate of Achievement, you will needan Infant Toddler or Family Child Care Home CDA OR30 approved training hours in the Infant/Toddler Area of Concentration found on The Statewide Training Calendar.
To obtain the corresponding $600 Stipend, you must meet all the Eligibility Requirements shown below.
First Aid/CPR taken from an OPDR approved training organization will count toward the 30 clock hours of training for this Certificate of Achievement. First Aid/CPR can only be counted toward ONE Certificate of Achievement (Infant Toddler, Preschool or School Age only).
Any safe sleep class that meets the Child Care Services-Licensing requirement for infant safe sleep training will count toward the 30 clock hours of training. Only one approved safe sleep course may be counted.
You do not need to submit training documentation unless the training does not appear on your Registry training list and it has been two full weeks since the training has been completed. If you do need to submit your certificate, you can email it to cecpd@ou.edu. You can also contact the approved training sponsor directly to request that they add it.
College Courses do not count towards any Certificate of Achievement.
A Family Child Care Home CDA can be used for the education requirement once for either the Infant/Toddler or Preschool Certificate of Achievement.
Each class can only be counted once to meet the 30 clock hours.
For your first Certificate of Achievement, we will look back 5 years for approved training. For all subsequent Certificates, we will look back 12 months from the application date for approved training.
