Oklahoma Registry Certificate of Achievement and Stipend Program

The Center for Early Childhood Professional Development (CECPD) is announcing the Oklahoma Registry Certificate of Achievement and Stipend Program. This is a voluntary stipend program funded by Department of Human Services (DHS) Child Care Services, for providers who work in DHS licensed child care facilities.

The stipend program is a collaborative effort to validate the achievement and expertise of practitioners and serve as a symbol of professional accomplishment. The stipend program is designed to:

  • recognize and reward the specialized professional development achievement of providers,
  • encourage teachers and directors to obtain additional focused formal professional development to improve the quality of care for children, and
  • increase positive outcomes experienced children.

 

The program begins in July 2019.

 

Eligibility Requirements

  • I work in a DHS licensed early care and education facility 1+ Star or higher

  • My facility has a current DHS or tribal subsidy contract

  • My facility has at least 10% of the licensed capacity filled with children receiving subsidy

  • ​I work a minimum of 30 hours per week in my current child care facility

  • I have been employed a continual 6 months in my current child care facility prior to the date of this application

  • I have a current Infant/Toddler, Preschool, or FCCH CDA OR have taken a minimum of 40 clock hours of training in the Oklahoma Professional Development Registry (OPDR) approved Infant/Toddler, Preschool or School-Age Area of Concentration

  • I have an active account in the Oklahoma Professional Development Registry (OPDR)

  • I work in a DHS licensed early care and education facility 1+ Star or higher

  • My facility has a current DHS or tribal subsidy contract

  • My facility has at least 10% of the licensed capacity filled with children receiving subsidy

  • ​I work a minimum of 30 hours per week in my current child care facility

  • I have been employed a continual 6 months in my current child care facility prior to the date of this application

  • I have been employed a continual 6 months in a Family Child Care Home prior to the date of this application

  • I have a current Infant/Toddler, Preschool, or FCCH CDA OR have taken a minimum of 40 clock hours of training in the Oklahoma Professional Development Registry (OPDR) approved Infant/Toddler, Preschool or School-Age Area of Concentration

  • I have an active account in the Oklahoma Professional Development Registry (OPDR)
