What to Expect during a CCP Field Counselor Visit
This page identifies the expectations of the CCP Field Counselor who is providing services to the individual child care provider.
Expectations of the CCP Field Counselor:

The NECPA sends the Field Counselor the CCP Performance Based Observation materials and the CCP Exam.

The CCP Field Counselor proctors the CCP Exam and completes the Performance Based Observation.
- The CCP Field Counselor sends the completed CCP exam and the Performance Based Observation to the NECPA Center of Operations.

Follow the rules of professional conduct as provided by the national agency and CECPD

Overall, uphold the integrity of the observation process, while positively representing themselves and CECPD
Expectations of CECPD Staff:
- Be helpful and responsive to questions concerning the Field Counselor’s visit
- Process payment of the services to the Field Counselor once the service is completed
